New years in Colorado...

We decided at 9:30pm on Wednesday the 30th to get up the next morning at 5:00am to go to Craig, Colorado to Aaron and Annettes. Jed's brother Brian was going to go up there and hunt for the rest of the week and Jed didn't want to miss out hunting with all his brothers!So we headed up there and the "boys" did nothing but hunt for the next 3 days. Got up at 4:00am and got home after 8:00pm. Crazy boys!! They had a blast though and it was great for them to get to spend time together.On New Years Eve we made them stay up and play guitar hero with us and we ate lots of yummy food of course! Michael and Angela Reidhead were there as well so Annette had a house full of kids! Us women had a great time just hanging out and doing girl stuff. That's what I love about being with Annette we can just hang out, let the kids run wild, and not go anywhere or spend any money and just be content. Thanks Annette for making us feel so comfortable and let the kids run the house. My kids miss them like crazy!It's finally not an everyday occurrence that they want their Reidhead cousins to play with.
We talked the guyes into taking us all to ride snow machines on Saturday. We got stuck in the snow in a deep ditch in like 3 feet of snow. That was crazy and Brian got us pulled out just before the ditch went into a drop off. Not a big one but big enough to scare the crud out of me! We had a blast in the snow on the snow machines! I think there was 4 or 5 total machines thanks to Aaron and Brian. The kids LOVED it!
We had a great few days visiting them! When we left there Sunday morning it was -22 degrees!! Freezing!!Our heater was on full blast for 2 hours when we started our journey and it never "hot" in our car. The condensation from our breath on the inside of our windows turned to ice! It was the craziest thing!! Can you say FREEZING!! I forgot to take my camera so I need to steal some from Annette. Thanks for the fun!!
