EMMIE turns 8

8 is GREAT

Emmie has been waiting for this day!! On January 6, 2010 Emmie was able to be baptized by her Daddy! Grandma Val picked out her baptism dress while we were away visiting in Colorado for New Years. She did a great job because Emmie loved her dress!

At her Baptism Uncle Brett gave an awesome talk on the Holy Ghost...

Aunt Ivy talked on Baptism and gave her white bears to help her remember in many ways...

After the Baptism all our family got together and had a yummy dinner to continue celebrating Emmie's special day! Thank you to everyone that made her day special and for the love you show to her!

NEXT CAME THE SLUMBER PARTY...

Was I crazy to let her have a slumber party and invite 8 girls!! Oh it wasn't too bad! She got to have them over for a spaghetti dinner and ice cream cake. Then she got spoiled by her friend with the presents she got! They then did what all girly girls like to do, put on make-up! It got a little wild in the end and most faces looked like clowns instead of princesses! They had a fun time! I think their favorite part was getting to play with all of Jed brand new puppies the next morning! Yes we had 8 puppies born the day before Emmie's birthday and Jed brought home 5 more that were 5 weeks old so the girls were in heaven!
