CAmPiNg!

We went camping for two weekends in a row. It is archery deer season so this was the dads way of involving the family! Brandon stayed back in the evenings to make us all dinner, I am sure we had the best dinner out of all the million other campers in the woods. Then at 4:00am all the men would get up and go out hunting til about 8:00am. The kids had fun shooting BB gun, walking in the forest, playing kick the can, building red neck snowmen(out of pine needles), and of course their favorite of gathering wood and throwing it in the fire!The kids had a blast and of course the slept like a rock, probably on a rock!

My mom and Dad got rid of their house but kept Brett's festivia!j/k But that was the joke of the night of the hers and his tent!
Master Chef Brandon! He made some awesome steaks the first weekend and some awesome Italian chicken and potatoes the second weekend.
Parker got put in the tent to play here he is peeking out of the tent at all of us!He looks sad in this pic but he loved it in there, for at least a little while!
So have you ever made a SMORE like this?!? Didn't think so, this is my dads way of how he thought you make a good SMORE!Put it right on the grill over the fire!

The kids kept finding toads. So they thought it would be fun to see if Parker was scared of it. I didn't capture the best picture of when Parker's mouth was open and so was the toads as Parker tried to eat it! Luckily they caught him in time, it didn't come that close but Parker sure had a death grip on it!

And this is what happens when you won't let your mom put bug repellent on your face! Emmie got bit on the forehead and I swear she in allergic to mosquitoes! Her forehead down into here nose and eyes were swollen! I have had it with the mosquitoes and sleepless nights because of itching this year!
